New and Changed Features

Destinations

  • Support for Using Proxy Server URL to Create Snowflake Destinations (Added in Release 2.48.1)

    • Hevo now supports connecting to a Snowflake Destination using a proxy server URL. When configuring your Destination, enter the proxy server URL in the Snowflake Account URL field. Using a proxy server can help reduce Snowflake compute costs and improve query performance

Currently, Hevo supports Yuki as a proxy server. To obtain your Yuki proxy URL, refer to the Yuki documentation. This applies to all new Snowflake Destinations.

Sources

  • OAuth-based Authentication for Zendesk Source (Added in Release 2.48.3)

    • Effective Release 2.48.3, Hevo has updated its Zendesk integration to use OAuth-based authentication to comply with Zendesk’s security requirements. Token-based authentication is no longer supported. This enhancement applies to all new and existing Pipelines.

For existing Pipelines using token-based authentication, you must reauthorize the Source using OAuth. Pipelines that are not upgraded may fail due to authentication issues. Refer to Upgrading Pipeline from Token-based Authentication to OAuth for the steps to upgrade your Pipeline.
