Can I change the Destination of the Pipeline after creating it?

Hevo allows you to change the configuration of the Destination post-Pipeline creation. However, you cannot change the Destination type. As a workaround, you can create a new Pipeline with the same Source and map it to your desired Destination.

For example, suppose you create a Pipeline with Amazon Redshift as the Destination, then you can change its configuration, such as the hostname and port. However, you cannot change the Destination from Redshift to BigQuery.

If you change the Destination configuration for your Pipeline, then:

• For Full Load objects, all the data is loaded.

• For incremental objects, only the new and updated data generated in the Source since the last ingested record is loaded. Therefore, if you have changed the database or want to load the historical data again, then you must restart the historical load for these objects.
